Studio

Queen wall bed, full bath, full kitchen,TV/DVD, telephone, ceiling fan*.  Per the representative at the resort, none of these units have a view.
One Bedroom

King bed, Queen wall bed, full bath, full kitchen, washer/dryer, TV/DVD, telephone, fireplace, fan*.  Per the representative at the resort, all these units have a view.  Per head of maintenance, all these have wallbeds.  (The VI site notes sofa sleepers in some rooms.)
Two Bedroom

King bed, Queen wall bed, Queen bed, 2 full baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer, TV/DVD, telephone, ceiling fan*, fireplace, balcony.  Per the representative at the resort, all these units have a view.  Two Bedrooms have an interior spiral staircase.

*These units do not have air conditioning, but are equipped with ceiling fans. Access: This resort has no elevators or ground floor units. A minimum of 8-10 stairs must be climbed to reach any unit.

The VI units are located in the older part of the resort.  They are still nice quality units.  VI owns 26 units at Steamboat, (4) studios, (6) 1 Bedrooms, and (16) 2 bedrooms.

 

Availability  If you request an availability calendar, we'll provide one for you.  The up to date calendar is on the Vacation Internationale secure site so we're unable to post or link to it.  About 70% of our business comes from cancellations and from "fills" from waitlists we request for our guests.  So even if we don't have availability right now, we very well may be able to accommodate you.  You can view a calendar that we update about every 7-10 days on our Trip Advisor/Flipkey website by clicking here. 
Rates
Our rates include all fees and taxes.  Rates depend on whether your visit is during low or high season and how many days in advance of arrival that you book.  See links to the left for a rate calculator. A one time reservation/cleaning fee of $40-$50 is applied to all reservations.  Discounts  are available to military, veterans, some seniors, and those who are disabled.  We want everyone to be able to afford a vacation.  Low Price Guarantee:  (for Bookings made 40 or less days in advance of arrival only)  If you are able to find a comparable unit for less, right up to your day of arrival, we will beat that price by 5%.  For all other rates, we will strive to beat any other price you find for a comparable unit.  The below rates do not include higher weekend rates.  For a rate quote, either use the rate calculator or contact us.
The Vacation Internationale units are managed by a third party at Steamboat.  They do not offer any direct rentals.  Timeshare owners can rent last minute space in the 1 bedrooms for $179/night.  We are unable to book the "Under 40" day rates when VI is not open.  We can book the other rates on-line.

May 19, 2010  "Awesome resort at the Boat!!!"   The resort is new and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The shuttle service to the mountain is the best!! It’s perfectly located, between the mountain and a shopping center. I didn’t have a vehicle when I was there and I didn’t need one. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!  Mike
   

 

 

Know Before You Go (updated 2/26/12)

Fireplaces:  Effective November 22, 2011 the Village at Steamboat Owners Association has shut down the fireplaces for safety reasons, pending an inspection.

Access:  There are no elevators.  A minimum of 8-10 stairs must be climbed to reach any unit.  Two Bedrooms have an interior spiral staircase.

Air Conditioning: Units do not have air conditioning.  Studio and Two Bedroom units are equipped with ceiling fans.  One Bedroom units have a box fan.

Washer/Dryer:  Studios are not equipped with washer/dryer. 

Internet access is now available in each VI unit at no charge to VI members.  

Third party management and sales:  Vacation Internationale does not manage this resort nor do we have sales at this resort.  During your stay you may be invited to a meeting with timeshare sales personnel.  This will not be with VI sales but is through another timeshare company and you are under no obligation to attend.
